Michael is so incredibly knowledgeable and his verbal history of Copenhagen and the surrounding area was fascinating. He was able to get us off the beaten path — literally — by following his years of experience at certain sites. He is kind, funny, and the ultimate gentleman. Our 5 hour introductory car tour of Copenhagen with Michael was exceptionally excellent. We thought Michael and his car were so fabulous that we booked him for a second 4 hour tour of the north of Copenhagen countryside. He is a charming, kind man who speaks perfect English. We now consider him a friend. He knows everything there is to know about Copenhagen and Denmark and many other places and things, and is passionate about his work. We are grateful to ToursByLocals for hooking us up with him.

Michael picked us up at the port for a full day of travel outside of Coppenhagen. Very pleasant. We covered a lot of ground and got a good feel for the outskirts of Coppenhagen. The castles were beautiful, especially Frederiksborg. The viking museum was a nice touch - this was adjusted based on our interests. His knowledge of the music scene of the area was a highlight for our son. Would use him again.

Our tour was wonderful! Michael is a fabulous tour guide, highly intelligent and informative, and made our introduction to Copenhagen very special. He is accommodating, friendly, kind and knowledgeable, and showed us parts of this beautiful city that many tourists may not get to see (in addition to all the typical and exciting sights). We even had time for a typical Danish lunch that was delicious. If you want a great local experience, hire Michael!

Our tour guide, Michael, arrived right on time, discussed our plans so we would enjoy our day, and was professional, courteous, and personable. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with him. He knew all about the Copenhagen and extended areas, the history and landmarks, the Royal family, as well as good restaurants and bakeries and spots for photos. We learned a lot with never a dull moment. You will not be disappointed with a tour by this guide! We highly recommend his services if you are seeking a great tour.
